Poor Omar

It's hard for me to feel sorry for this guy. Canada has spent way, way too much on him and his whole family. I'm sure 8 years in Gitmo hasn’t turned him around.

These are NOT very pleasant pictures, but…

Notice the pair of hands he is carrying that have been chopped off a living person.

Poor Omar Khadr?

Omar smiling

The next time you watch the news and are treated to how poor Omar Khadr was just a child in Afghanistan, held against his will, forced to do the terrorists bidding then "tortured" at Guantanamo…

Remember

Remember the pictures the bleeding hearts in the media won’t show you…

Young omar

Notice the AK47 behind him.

Omar making bomb

Young Omar happily and intently arming land mines.

Remember this — those who want him saved and brought back to Canada !!!!

And remember the victim and reason why there is a trial.

Sgt Christopher James Speer.

 Funeral

Very little is ever said about him. Pray for his wife, Tabitha, who will be attending Khadr’s trial.

  1. If this POS is brought back to Canada can he be tried for treason. He did take up arms against Canada and our allies.

  2. Dear Charles,
    Omar cannot and will not be rehabilitated. His religion will not allow it. For him to do so would be seen as apostasy or the denouncing what he believes in. According to a former Egyptian, Nonie Darwish, who is author of “Cruel and Usual Punishment”, Islam does not allow tolerance of infidels (us). She believes that people in the west are naive in thinking that muslims will treat us kindly if we are nice to them. She says that muslims do not subscribe to the “golden rule”, but rather believe that infidels are not to be respected, and instead they are to be done away with. She believes that westerners ignore this threat at their peril. Aayan Hirsi Ali, a former muslim from Somalia, and author of “Infidel”, expresses the same idea. (It was her movie that Theo Van Gogh was murdered for producing.) Both women are under death threats for speaking out.

    This person and many others have been programmed for terrorism and
    if not stopped will continue.
    He should fulfil his sentence in the
    United States and not here.

  3. …poor little Omar should have been “double-tapped” long before he got to Gitmo and his family should have been thrown out of this country years ago. I really can’t fathom the absolute stupidity of the people who support him. He IS a Canadian citizen, he WAS in a foreign country, engaging in actions against our allies. That is soooo close to treason and he would probably have had no problem targeting Canadians….which is treason Maybe his bombs did? Who knows? PLEASE don’t go the “child soldier” route, either. When I was in Army Cadets, at the ages of 13/14/15, we trained with the FN-C1 semi-auto assault rifle (the AK-47 counter-part) and we damshur knew what they were for…AND the difference between right and wrong.

    AS a Canadian I am not very politically savy, but despite the posturing of his laywers I thought there must be areason he was not being helped by the Canadian government. Now I know why. Thanks, Donna Monney

  5. The news in the states says he played guilty to 5 charges. They don’t say anything about a plea bargain. When he is brought back to Canada and his family gets paid off by our Government, does the medic’s family allowed to sue him for wrongful death. Why should his family benefit from the deaths.

  6. I call a jihad on any #$^*&^% who wants to bring this traitor back to our country.
    I am not interested in supporting Poor Omar or any of his kind.

  7. I’m not sure why I haven’t heard anyone say this yet;
    This, then a boy, and now a man, was born and raised to be what he is. A terrorist. No mind games, he’s no different than our children. His parents instilled their beliefs and views in their child, and he is the product.
    With that in mind, I simply do not believe that there is any rehabilitation of this person. There’s nothing to repair, he’s not broken or defective. He is what he was raised, a hateful, intolerant, and violent person.

  8. This needs to get out to the public so every body knows the whole story not just the spin from Omar’s lawyers who the Canadians are paying for…..

    …the whole point of war and combat is to demonize the other guy, and to propogate hatred for the other guy. and each guy is morally certain that he is the good guy. congratulations to conservatives like charles adler et al for perpetuating the hate. where would arms manufacturers and hate-mongering religious and political leaders be without you.

  9. Mr Adler you are so very right there so many Canadian and American Soldiers dieing and all some people can talk about is poor Omar and ones like him the soldiers do not ask to go to these places the know when they sign the contract they must go and do there job with out question

  10. Thank you for posting these pictures. I just do not get why the media in this country is still going on about poor Omar. This guys is a terrorist, murderer and if given and chance would kill anyone of us. Refuse him entry back, let the prisoners in the USA make him pay for his deeds.

  11. I wonder if the internet and CBC posts had existed during WWII whether such sympathy would have been evident from across this nation for the poor little boys that faced our Men and Women troops in D-Day and beyond?

  12. I am sickened that this anti-Canadianestablishmenterrorist is being held up as a victim and even a hero by some in Canada.
    Yes, a hero? that’s what some CBC bloggers proclaim him to be . . . They feel he has been robbed of all chances to live a normal Canadian life because Canada failed him during his 8 years as a POW–wow! Go figure?

    Charles avoids the Wikileaks story (like most in corporate north american media)
    Wikileaks exposes the fatuous black and white view of terrorism and what the war in Afgonestan and Iraq is about.
    Your insight into that part of the world is limited and you substitute insight with your jingoism and platitudes.
    Not every war is world war 2 charles–Even a relic like you could not justify what the Americans did in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
    Have some balls Charles-quit waving your flag and enlighten your audience with Wikileaks
    I suspect you won’t because it might expose you as a man of limited intelligence
    Have some guts old boy
    Remember how wrong you were about Iraq-while Wikileaks only proves my point.

  13. Well those bleeding hearts who want Omar back in Canada need to remove there heads out of there asses. He’s a terrorist as these photos here prove. I don’t ever want to see Omar back in Canada unless he’s returned in a box. His whole family are criminals and this government better do the right thing and not allow him back.

  14. Peter..if you are indeed serious, please go back and read my post. Next, go down to the weekly meetings of any Army,Navy or Air Cadet branch in your town. Ask the ‘kids’ what they do there and with what…you just might learn something. OR…you could go to any major city in North America and ask the Police just exactly WHAT, ‘child soldiers’…some younger than Omar were…are capable of doing. You really need to have your eyes opened, grow up a bit and grow a pair….Have a McNice day.

  16. Omar Khadr has been a resident of Gitmo for eight years and yet his friends in the NDP, LPC and CBC didn’t get a hard-on for him until there was a Conservative government.
    Admit it, you don’t give a damn about Omar Khadr. You only want to use him to further your own partisan politics.
    You are truly pathetic.

    sorry to rain on your idiotic parade, but good guys, if there realy were such a species, would not advocate hate and human slaughter. meaning you’re no different than your description of the so-called bad guys.

  17. Save some Canadian and US tax dollars. Execute him. Or have an ‘accident’. I can’t believe how much time, money and energy is wasted on ‘people’ like this.

  18. If Canadian gouvernment lets this scum back into the country, they will be harboring terrorists. It makes me sick to even think this is a possibility.

    …this post, and the accompanying comments, suuport once again a conclusion i have arrived at after over twenty years of keen observation: the left brings hope, the right brings hate.

  19. I have seen and put up with alot in the past 49 yrs of my life in Canada since I was born in a little town north of Toronto. I have seen political correctness over the past 30yrs slice away common sence and reason. I have seen political agendas overwhelm truth and honesty. I have seen big business throttle the little guy until perceiving the truth is an abstract idea only held by those who still believe in a “Normal” society. But this Omar Khadr has push me to the edge. I have heard his family on the radio slamming my country, I have heard the left wing media twist the truth for ratings,agendas,and self imposed morality. but enough is enough !!!!. To the family of Omar Khadr, the little darling who you said was innocent even though you knew he was guilty, parents and family of a cold blooded killer who relishes in the death of others, I as a TRUE Canadian do not want, need or respect your kind, My country would be far better off with you and your family out of here. Im sure theres a 3rd world country that would love your type, Killers, liers, users, manipulators of systems. I am sick that this modern day terrorist will once again touch my beloved soil. I am sick that our government will allow you back to a country that you do not respect and your family hates, I am sick that this all could have been avoided at the scene with one well place round. All my respect and prayers go out to the Speers family whose loss was at the expense of “giving medical assistance to a child” I am truly sick.

  20. I think you’re way off base on this one Charles – Omar Khadr was a 15 year old boy when this happened. He was indoctrinated by his father, his family, and his circumstances.
    He was in a compound that was attacked by American soldiers. He was the only survivor in the compound, and he was shot 3 times, including once in the back. He didn’t seek out the American soldiers – they attacked him.
    To equate him with people like Russell Williams & Robert Picton because he tried to defend himself in the attack is preposterous and shameful.
    Omar Khadr has suffered greatly for the misfortune of being born into the family he was born into. It is natural for children to share the values and opinions of their parents when they are growing up, but that doesn’t mean they will share them for the rest of their lives.
    In Canada, we don’t keep people in prison for the rest of their lives if they do something horrible at age 15 – no matter how bad or pre-meditated their crimes were. We give them a second chance.
    I have a 15 year old son, and right now, his values are a reflection of mine and his mother’s. He’s just now getting to the age where he can start to make his own decisions on whether those values feel right for him, and someday he will no doubt have opinions and values of his own.
    You make it sound like Omar Khadr was somehow an adult when he was 15, and that he chose to be where he was because he came up with these ideas on his own.
    Give your head a shake Charles, and give this kid a break. Canada is willing to – why aren’t you?

  21. Charles, I sent the following to our PM today, perhaps others will do the same:
    It appears, since Mr Khadr is a native born Canadian, that we will be expected to accord him all of the rights and privileges due to a citizen of Canada. So it is inevitable that he will return to Canada. Now comes my question, since Citizens of Canada also have some duties and responsibilities in addition to their rights , can we not hold him responsible for his actions against Canada.
    One of our duties is not to take up arms against our country, he did exactly that. Surely he can and should, immediately upon his return to Canada, be charged with treason?
    Quote
    Canada
    Section 46 of the Criminal Code of Canada has two degrees of treason, called “high treason” and “treason.” However, both of these belong to the historical category of high treason, as opposed to petty treason which does not exist in Canadian law. Section 46 reads as follows:
    “High treason
    (1) Every one commits high treason who, in Canada,
    (a) kills or attempts to kill Her Majesty, or does her any bodily harm tending to death or destruction, maims or wounds her, or imprisons or restrains her;
    b levies war against Canada or does any act preparatory thereto; or
    c assists an enemy at war with Canada, or any armed forces against whom Canadian Forces are engaged in hostilities, whether or not a state of war exists between Canada and the country whose forces they are.
    Treason
    (2) Every one commits treason who, in Canada,
    (a) uses force or violence for the purpose of overthrowing the government of Canada or a province;
    b without lawful authority, communicates or makes available to an agent of a state other than Canada, military or scientific information or any sketch, plan, model, article, note or document of a military or scientific character that he knows or ought to know may be used by that state for a purpose prejudicial to the safety or defense of Canada;
    c conspires with any person to commit high treason or to do anything mentioned in paragraph (a);
    (d) forms an intention to do anything that is high treason or that is mentioned in paragraph (a) and manifests that intention by an overt act; or
    (e) conspires with any person to do anything mentioned in paragraph b or forms an intention to do anything mentioned in paragraph b and manifests that intention by an overt act.”
    It is also illegal for a Canadian citizen to do any of the above outside Canada.
    The penalty for high treason is life imprisonment. The penalty for treason is imprisonment up to a maximum of life, or up to 14 years for conduct under subsection (2)b or (e) in peacetime.

  22. The sympathies trumpeted for Omar by the NDP, LPC and CBC are disgusting, and the reasons for such, evident.
    A fifteen year old murders another. A twenty one year old murders another. A thirty year old murders another.
    The common denominator of course is the act of murder.
    Omar Khadr had the ability to choose, to look beyond what his parents taught him, and to sense right from wrong. Canada could not have helped him in this regard. He decided to kill another human being, with his teachings.
    Shame on you Canada, and shame on those sick politicians who are using this case for your own agenda and lust for power.
    The simple, true concepts of right and wrong have sadly become so blurred to many, as a result of the agendas of a corrupt, few politicians.

    …thank you, and bless you, dale ronald (comment above), for being an oasis of hope and sanity in a sea of right wing hate, paranoia and exonphobia.

  23. why does it take us so long to rid us of the bad apples like this POS. Treason is his guilt just as plain as day. Or…..there is another option of course. Send him to live in the same homer as all these bleeding hearts that think he is an innocent victim. Just send in your address and I am sure he would love to move in and rape, torture and kill you. after all we are all INFIDELS????
